Job Description:

The Role

The representative’s primary role is to provide back office support to Trust Reporting Services and Integrated Wealth Mgmt (IWM) product offerings. They will be asked to perform several operational functions to support both the brokerage function and the Trust product offerings including: cash and share reconciliation, risk report review, creation of monetary transactions, and workflow management. This individual will provide problem resolution support to IWS Service Teams and the various support groups. In addition, they will act as a liaison between FI, OSG and all internal business partners.

The representative will be supporting our internal and external customers while interpreting, researching and resolving intermediate to complex mutual fund, brokerage and cross-product issues either by phone, email or additional correspondence. They will be processing complex customer requests and provide complete ownership of issues through to resolution, while establishing relationships with internal and external customers / business partners. Representatives will adhere to established standard FI policy and procedures, noting appropriate brokerage rules and regulations. They will be asked to participate in team initiatives on an ongoing basis, in addition participate in projects that maximizes new technology to increase operational efficiencies. All representatives will be asked to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.

The Expertise We Are Looking For

  • Knowledge of Trusts; basic understanding of Principal and Income Accounting, Net Income Payments, and Below the Line Assets

  • Strong familiarity with financial industry, with a good understanding of the Mutual Fund and Brokerage industry

  • Knowledge of Fidelity systems preferred

The Team

The Trust Operations team is primarily focused on supporting the integration between the FBSI Brokerage System and the FIS Trust Desk Accounting platforms on behalf of our clients. Fidelity’s trust product offerings, in both FI and PI, are complimentary offerings to attract and retain high net worth clients. The unique integration, and how both our internal and external clients use them, requires the Trust Operations team to interact with a variety of business partners in support of those products. Those partners include FCCS Product and Sales teams as well as Client Service and Implementation Support.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
