LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire an experienced trusts and estates paralegal for a full-time hybrid position. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in trust administration, estate planning support, and gift tax preparation. The schedule offers three days onsite and two days remote each week.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with the full administration of trusts and estatesCollect and organize asset information, prepare inventories, and draft fiduciary accountingsPrepare and file federal and state gift tax returns (Form 709)Draft probate documents, routine correspondence, and required court filingsCoordinate with beneficiaries, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and outside advisorsMaintain detailed and organized case files in accordance with firm protocolsSupport preparation and implementation of estate planning documentsManage deadlines, calendars, and workflow for ongoing mattersQualificationsMinimum of 4 years of trusts and estates paralegal experience in a law firm or estate administration environmentDirect experience with gift tax filings and trust administrationStrong understanding of probate processes, estate planning documentation, and fiduciary accountingExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive client information with discretionProficiency with legal software systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid scheduleBenefitsDepending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
