Trusts & Estates Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire an experienced trusts and estates paralegal for a full-time hybrid position. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in trust administration, estate planning support, and gift tax preparation. The schedule offers three days onsite and two days remote each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the full administration of trusts and estates
- Collect and organize asset information, prepare inventories, and draft fiduciary accountings
- Prepare and file federal and state gift tax returns (Form 709)
- Draft probate documents, routine correspondence, and required court filings
- Coordinate with beneficiaries, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and outside advisors
- Maintain detailed and organized case files in accordance with firm protocols
- Support preparation and implementation of estate planning documents
- Manage deadlines, calendars, and workflow for ongoing matters
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of trusts and estates paralegal experience in a law firm or estate administration environment
- Direct experience with gift tax filings and trust administration
- Strong understanding of probate processes, estate planning documentation, and fiduciary accounting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion
- Proficiency with legal software systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid schedule

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
