About the Opportunity
The firm is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to support its trusts and estates practice, including estate planning, probate, and estate administration matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment while building valuable experience in a highly sought-after practice area.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with estate planning matters, including preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Support probate and estate administration files from opening through closing
- Prepare court filings, correspondence, inventories, and related documentation
- Communicate with clients, courts, financial institutions, and fiduciaries
- Organize files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate case records
- Assist with trust funding and related administrative matters
- Provide general administrative and case management support to the trusts & estates team
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal experience required; trusts & estates experience strongly preferred
- Experience with probate, estate administration, or estate planning matters is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong client service skills
