Our client is in search of a seasoned professional to join their team dedicated to estate and trust administration. This full-time, onsite position in Naples focuses on supporting complex cases involving high-value estates, prominently featuring Florida probate, trust management, and associated federal tax documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of estate and trust management, including asset oversight and final beneficiary distributions.
- Create detailed inventories, schedules, and financial reports by synthesizing information from diverse origins.
- Draft and review legal documents for probate and fiduciary purposes, ensuring they are ready for electronic filing.
- Collaborate on the preparation of tax returns for estates, gifts, and fiduciary incomes (including Form 706, Form 709, and Form 1041).
- Actively manage case timelines, coordinate key deadlines, and provide proactive support to attorneys.
- Foster effective communication with clients and act as a central point of contact between legal professionals and family members.
- Utilize legal and tax software tools to enhance the efficiency of document processing and filing.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to the highest standards of accuracy and complies with both Florida and federal legal frameworks.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum five-year track record in Florida estate and trust administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of probate, trust, and taxation protocols, including federal transfer tax laws.
- Proficiency with Florida's electronic filing systems and specialized probate software.
- Possession of a paralegal certification or equivalent legal training, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite and estate/trust management software.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, organization, and delivering superior client services.
