As a Busser, you help keep the rhythm of service flowing seamlessly, ensuring every guest feels cared for and every setting remains immaculate. This role is essential to the elegant pace and presentation that define Our House. You move with precision and purpose, supporting the service team and elevating the guest experience through quiet excellence.
COMPENSATION:
$11.35 Hourly + tips
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support servers and the front-of-house team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining room.
- Clear, reset, and polish tables swiftly and neatly between courses and seatings.
- Assist in delivering food and beverages, ensuring smooth pacing and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations, dining areas, and side work zones.
- Monitor water and beverage levels, anticipating guest needs before being asked.
- Collaborate closely with servers, hosts, and management to uphold the flow and timing of service.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment while embodying Tallow’s signature warmth and hospitality.
- Treat Our House with pride — taking ownership of your section and the details that define it.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous food service or other relevant customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to understand & communicate using basic English
- Ability to stand for long periods of time & lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certification in the state of New York
