Position Summary
Our client, a leading global designer and manufacturer of audiovisual solutions, is seeking a dependable Tube Laser Operator to operate and monitor tube laser equipment used to produce high-quality metal components. Candidates with experience operating lasers, CNC equipment, or other metal fabrication machinery are preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are also valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate tube laser equipment according to production schedules.
Load raw materials and safely unload finished parts.
Perform machine changeovers, including tooling and lens changes as needed.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Enter production information accurately into the manufacturing system.
Work with the Laser Programmer to identify opportunities to improve programs, quality, and efficiency.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
Meet daily production and quality goals.
Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
