  Overtime and weekends may be required based on production needs
  

What You'll Do
As a Tube Mill Operator, you'll work with tube mill equipment and material-handling machinery while helping ensure finished products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• 
  Operate tubing end finishers, band saws and other production equipment
  
• 
  Assist with installing tooling on tube mills
  
• 
  Inspect finished products and verify dimensions
  
• 
  Perform required quality checks and accurately record results
  
• 
  Remove finished pieces from machine beds
  
• 
  Perform routine and non-routine equipment maintenance as directed
  
• 
  Operate forklifts, bridge/overhead cranes, side loaders and hand trucks
  
• 
  Load and unload materials from semi-trailers
  
• 
  Move and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations
  
• 
  Accurately count incoming and outgoing materials
  
• 
  Tag, label or mark materials for identification
  
• 
  Fill production and shipping orders
  
• 
  Box, bundle, crate or band products for shipment
  
• 
  Verify outgoing shipments against bills of lading, orders and other records
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  Must be at least 18 years old
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED preferred
  
• 
  3 6 months of related experience or training preferred;equivalent experience will be considered
  
• 
  Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints
  
• 
  Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
  
• 
  Ability to follow written, verbal and diagram instructions
  
• 
  Ability to operate material-handling equipment or obtain required company certification
  
• 
  Must be able to wear required PPE, including metatarsal boots, protective eyewear, hard hat, gloves and hearing protection
  
• 
  Must be available for overtime and weekends when required
  
• 
  Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
