Top Tube Support Stick Welder

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Top Tube Support Stick Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for performing high-quality stick welding on tube support components while maintaining production schedules and meeting company quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has recent SMAW welding experience, can read blueprints and weld symbols, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Recent stick welding (SMAW) experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications
Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform stick welding (SMAW) on top tube support components
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Fit, align, and secure metal components prior to welding
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
Grind, clean, and finish welds as required
Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition
Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Meet production goals while maintaining quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous industrial manufacturing or fabrication experience
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Strong understanding of welding quality standards and inspection requirements
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and dust
Ability to safely wear required welding PPE throughout the workday
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility
Fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands
Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication tools, and industrial machinery
