Stand-By Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Top Tube Support Stick Welder for a growing industrial facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for skilled welders looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform stick welding (SMAW) on top tube support components Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications Fit, align, and secure metal parts prior to welding Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Grind, clean, and finish welds as required Maintain welding equipment and tools Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Keep work area clean and organized Meet production goals while maintaining quality workmanship
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Recent stick welding (SMAW) experience required Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive movement Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, noise, dust)
Work Environment:
Industrial manufacturing facility Fast-paced, team-oriented setting Overtime and weekend work may be required
