Description
- Oversees field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations.
- Collaborates with other Superintendents and subcontractors.
- Closely monitors communicates risks, status etc. in project review meetings.
- Assists Engineers with quantities and productions.
- Establishes and promotes a safety culture.
- Ensures labor, equipment and materials are maintained, protected, secured and used at optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Coaches and provides on-the-job training to crews.
- Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and assessing performance.
- Schedules and Oversees field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and all construction operations.
- Ensures production goals are achieved.
- Ensures project personnel adheres to Safety and Quality Standards.
- Ensures accurate and timely quantity tracking.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Certifications
Employment Conditions
5 years of experience
Heavy civil construction experience required
HCSS experience preferred
