Our client, Aerospace and Industrial Seal Manufacturing is seeking a Turn Milling Machinist to join their team. As a Turn Milling Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting Production Operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.  This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits.  

Job Title: Turn Milling Machinist
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $32.84 plus $.75/hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm (M-F) & 3rd Shift 11pm-7am (Sunday night start)

What's the Job?

  • Set up and operate DMG Mori Turn Milling Machines to produce high-precision aerospace components.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Input tool lengths using Zoller and calibrate probes to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform tooling offsets and make process adjustments for secondary operations.
  • Inspect parts using probes and measuring equipment to ensure they meet specifications.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with 5-axis machinery and a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and interpret dimensional blueprints and sketches.
  • Knowledge of measurement tools such as gauges and mics.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment performing setup roles.
