Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is seeking a Full Time Turndown Attendant to join our exciting Housekeeping team. Job Description:
As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for:
• Having a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift. • Removing used towels and replacing them with clean ones from the Linen Closet. • Wiping down any wet services in the bathroom. • Folding any clothing left in room and placing it in appropriate spot. • Removing Room Service trays, dishes and carts to service landings. • Closing drapes, reducing lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed. • Preparing unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests. • Performing full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed. • Restocking used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens. • Assisting with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant, Guestroom Attendant and House Attendant. • Upholding maintenance and safety standards. • Performing daily opening and closing cleaning procedures. • Ensuring housekeeping carts/linen closets are stocked to par. • Communicating customer requests or preferences to management.
Requirements:
• High school education or equivalent experience. • At least 6 months experience within the same or similar position with Four Seasons or other organization. • Previous Housekeeping/cleaning experience in a hotel is preferred. • Must be able to speak/read/write English and communicate with guests to accommodate needs and requests. • Must be able to work all shifts including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
