 The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Turndown Service Attendant to work with our Housekeeping Team $20 hourly.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

The Turn down Service Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening by providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring each guest enjoys a relaxing stay. During periods of lower occupancy, the Turn down Service Attendant will assist other areas of the Housekeeping Department as needed.

Schedule

  • Peak Season: Regular shift is 5:45 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • Slow Season: Scheduled hours may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
  • Additional hours may be offered when operational needs require extra support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Turn down Service

  • Perform evening turn-down service in assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Refresh guest rooms by:
    • Making bed for the evening.
    • Refreshing towels and amenities as needed.
    • Emptying trash if necessary.
    • Straightening the room and ensuring a clean, welcoming appearance.
    • Turning on appropriate lighting and creating a comfortable atmosphere.
    • Reporting maintenance issues or room concerns promptly.
  • Maintain guest privacy and security while working in occupied rooms.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by responding politely and professionally to guest requests.

Additional Responsibilities (When Turndown Volume Is Low)

When occupancy does not require a full turndown schedule, employees may be assigned to assist with other Housekeeping Department duties, including:

  • Cleaning public areas.
  • Completing deep cleaning projects.
  • Assisting in the laundry department.
  • Restocking housekeeping supplies and linen.
  • Supporting room attendants or housepersons as directed.
  • Performing other housekeeping-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Expectations

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Report maintenance concerns lost and found items, and safety hazards immediately.
  • Be flexible and willing to assist other housekeeping operations based on business needs.
