    Duties:

    • The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA provides high-precision manufacturing solutions that enable the capabilities of Client's industry leading electronic measurement equipment.
    • As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, Wire EDM, or 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.

    Skills:
    • Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require a machinist with a knack for precision, quality, and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to learn, strong teamwork, a positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility are a must. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

    Experience with any/all of the following is highly desired:
    • CNC Turning
    • Swiss Style Lathes
    • Mill/Turn Machine Center
    • Wire EDM
    • Advanced Metrology
    • CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
    • CAD/Solid Modeling
    • Tool Grinding
    • Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

    Education:
    • High School Diploma
    • Associate's Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plus
