Abacus is currently hiring turret truck operators for the Olive Branch area.
The hours are Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm with mandatory overtime at a payrate of $20.50 an hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a turret truck to pick, store, and move products within warehouse racking systems
- Retrieve materials from high storage areas (often 20–40+ feet high)
- Perform order picking using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Load and unload pallets and ensure accurate inventory placement
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned (packing, staging, shipping)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Valid forklift/turret truck certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience operating high-reach or narrow-aisle forklifts preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in confined warehouse aisles
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
