Salary: $30.00 per hour Aurora- Not to exceed 100 hours per year

Budget Source: Title I/Third Grade Success Grant

Supervisor: Federal Programs Director

Certification: Minimum HS diploma; Valid WV Teaching Certificate Preferred

Employment Term: Upon approval through the end of the 2026-2027 school year; schedule to be determined by the Federal Programs Director. This is a one-year position.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate's or BA preferred, Educational training preferred Experience in reading and math preferred; Relate well to children and school staff; Experience working with at-risk children with reading and math difficulties; Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contract non-renewed for cause by another school district are eligible for consideration; Satisfactory references concerning past performance; Satisfactory past evaluations.

Job Description/Major Duties: Provide instruction to students in small groups or individually using prescribed intervention resources; Monitor academic progress regularly Collaborate with parents and teachers to target and provide services based on individual student needs. Position is contingent upon grant funding from the Homeless Grant.
