Chemistry tutors provide tutoring services to students currently enrolled in Chemistry courses at Washburn University.

Essential Functions:
Assist students with mathematical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Explain and expand on chemical concepts.
Guide students to solutions of homework assignments.
Aid students in exam preparations.
Follow the Academic Impropriety Policy.
Perform additional job- related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled Washburn University student with previous Chemistry courses completed successfully.
Preferred Qualifications:
Maintain a "B" grade or better in Chemistry courses to be tutoring, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better in natural science courses.
Willingness to substitute for other tutors if needed and participate in special tutoring events or study sessions if needed.
