DESCRIPTION

• Tutors will support students in core subject/s
• Schedule determined by school

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• Ability to facilitate strong, positive relationships with students
• Incorporate progress monitoring into tutoring sessions to track student learning progress
• Possess effective reading, writing, and computation skills
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills
• Possess the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to navigate online platforms
• Acceptance of flexible work schedule
• Dependability and punctuality required

Salary Range: From/To

Tutor-Certified (Active VA License): $33.59 hourly

Tutor-Non-certified: $27.21 hourly

Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities are available.

Tutors are temporary employees; employment as a tutor is not guaranteed in the next school year; however, there may be substitute opportunities if tutoring options are not available.
