TV Camera Operator

Join our live broadcast team and help bring the excitement of harness racing to viewers across North America. We are seeking dependable Camera Operators to work race days and capture live action for professional simulcast broadcasts.  This is an excellent opportunity for students, aspiring broadcasters, videographers, content creators, or anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in live sports production. No professional broadcast experience is required—we will train the right candidates.


Responsibilities

• Operate a fixed-position broadcast camera during live racing events
• Follow direction from the broadcast producer/director
• Track horses and capture race action throughout the event
• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled race days
• Maintain a professional and team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to focus and follow instructions in a fast-paced live environment
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
• Previous camera, video, photography, or broadcasting experience is a plus, but not required
