Twisting Operator

Nesco Resource is currently hiring Twisting Operators for a textile manufacturing facility in the Enoree, SC area. We are seeking dependable candidates with textile, machine operating, or manufacturing experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor textile twisting machines and related production equipment.
• Load yarn, cones, bobbins, or spools onto twisting machinery.
• Start, stop, and make basic adjustments to machines to maintain proper operation.
• Monitor yarn tension, twist, and overall product quality throughout production.
• Identify and repair broken yarn or thread as needed.
• Remove completed packages and replace empty tubes, bobbins, or cones.
• Inspect finished material for defects and ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Monitor multiple machines while maintaining production expectations.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or material issues and notify supervision of equipment problems.
• Complete required production documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous textile manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Twisting, winding, spinning, weaving, or textile machine operating experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift are required.
• Steel-toe shoes and long pants are required.
