Duties

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, and independence among toddlers
• Manage daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play while ensuring child safety
• Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, milestones, and any developmental concerns through regular updates

Skills

• Ability to take directions from lead teacher to help maintain the classroom continuity
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques tailored for two-year-olds to foster a positive environment
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members
• Experience working with children in daycare or preschool environments
• Commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment
