Description
Core mandate
Build and validate a capital-efficient U.S. veterinary market-entry path before major USDA or manufacturing investment.
Primary responsibilities
- Develop partnerships with veterinary labs, hospital groups, universities, KOLs, distributors, and strategic companies.
- Build and manage a qualified partner pipeline.
- Design and advance pilots, evaluations, white-label, licensing, and reference-lab opportunities.
- Validate customer needs, test-menu priorities, pricing, workflow fit, and commercial economics.
- Coordinate contracts, technical support, marketing materials, and internal resources.
- Recommend when further regulatory or manufacturing investment is justified.
Requirements
Ideal profile
- 5–10 years in veterinary diagnostics, animal health, diagnostics BD, or veterinary laboratory services
- Existing U.S. veterinary industry relationships
- Strong outbound and partnership-development capability
- Comfortable with ambiguity and limited resources
- Able to convert discussions into pilots and commercial commitments
- Sufficient regulatory judgment without becoming overly risk-averse
