The Manager of SEC Reporting is a full-time, exempt role based in Silver Spring, MD, within the Finance department, reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller.
They will oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP standards, and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
Key responsibilities include managing external audits, maintaining SOX compliance, and collaborating with various departments on financial disclosures.
Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of experience, a CPA, strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements, proficiency with Workiva, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Salary ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
