Retail Sales Specialist

= Everett, WA
= $34/hour


Position Overview

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Boeing is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist who excels at creating welcoming and engaging experiences for employees and visitors. This role is key to representing the *** brand through exceptional customer service, strong product knowledge, and efficient daily operations.

In this role, you will ensure every customer interaction reflects the pride and professionalism of the *** community. By understanding customer needs and providing thoughtful product recommendations, you will help create a positive in-store experience while supporting overall store operations and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Inventory

  • Manage daily cash control procedures and point-of-sale (POS) transactions
  • Receive, process, and track incoming and outbound shipments
  • Maintain stock levels and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Process Mark Out of Stock (MOS) and Return to Vendor (RTV) items
  • Coordinate merchandise transfers and special customer orders
  • Prepare for and support annual inventory counts
  • Execute floor sets and uphold merchandising standards
  • Maintain an organized stockroom and proper product storage
  • Identify and communicate facility or maintenance needs

Customer Service & Sales

  • Open and close the store following established procedures
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email and other channels
  • Prepare and fulfill customer merchandise orders
  • Address and escalate customer concerns to store management

General Duties

  • Restock merchandise as needed
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • Identify and report safety or housekeeping concerns
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Quick learner with initiative and adaptability

Role Details

  • Number of Positions: 1
  • Start Date: By end of May
  • Duration: 12 months (potential for extension)
  • Location: Everett, WA (Building 40-22)
  • Work Type: Onsite
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Shift: First shift
  • Overtime: Occasionally required
  • Travel: Minimal to none

Additional Requirements

  • Must meet U.S. Person requirements for export compliance
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and handle merchandise (unpacking, moving boxes, etc.)
  • No security clearance required
