A leading Automotive Finance company, located in Irvine, CA, is seeking a UAT Business Analyst for a 13+ month contract.Summary:The TEST Business Analyst should work closely with business units to understand business pain points and technical/functional requirements to identify impacts to upstream or downstream processes. Proactively act as solution consultant bringing process improvements to business teams by fully understanding capabilities of the system and effectively communicating the value and efficiencies of a change. Work with PMO team, Business units, and vendors to create an overall UAT Strategy, Test Cases, and execute the UAT Plan to ensure that all business requirements are satisfied. Help to provide impact assessment identifying estimates (cost/time). Be the liaison between all the IT teams & Business and participate in associated meetings and lead UAT related discussion and coordination activities.Duties & Responsibilities1. Work with Project, IT and business to plan UAT and support UAT execution that adheres to the project plan. Collaborates with various teams to create test cases that satisfies all requirements stated in the BRD"s. Provide test support during all phases of the projects (development, QA, UAT, etc) and coordinate w/ project team to fix technical issues or drive design or implementation of new enhancements. Track progress and provide reporting to PMO team and business leads. (40%)2. Documentation: Create design and technical documentation including UAT Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Tracking, Process Flows, etc. Ensure Best Practices are followed. Ensure Security, Risk, and Compliance standards are followed (30%)3. Analysis & Design: Assist in identifying process pain points and problems. Document and analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in formulating recommendations, developing solutions, and execution of recommendations. Work with departments/teams/vendors to solve problems and encourage diversity of opinions while lending expertise to the process and work with business areas to implement changes/solutions. (15%)4. Application Monitoring: Coordinate with technical leads to implement changes to infrastructure, configurations, processes, or applications. Collaborate with technical leads, IT governance, and other resources to ensure management processes are optimized to ensure Application availability and reliability. (10%)5. Other duties as assigned. (5%)Job Requirements* Minimum 5 years" experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools in the finance and/or IT industry.* Automotive Finance industry with Insurance background a plus.* Exposure to IT incident, availability, and service level management preferred.* 5 year"s experience with UAT Planning and Execution including related documentation (Plan, test cases, defect tracking, etc) preferred.* 5 year"s experience minimum executing and monitoring UAT Test Plan on major IT and/or Business initiativesEducation: Bachelor"s degree required.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:* Strong interpersonal skills.* Excellent active listening skills.* Excellent oral and written communication skills.* Strong organization and time/project management skills.* Basic to intermediate technical skills; SQL & basic IT application/architecture concepts.* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.* Experience with creating reports (e.g. defect tracking, testing status, etc)
