Business Mobilization & Discipline

  • Mobilize business process owners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to participate fully in UAT.
  • Set and enforce expectations for business roles, responsibilities, timelines, and test execution.
  • Maintain discipline to keep the business aligned and engaged throughout all UAT cycles.

UAT Execution & Defect Closure

  • Partner with IT testing teams to coordinate development and validation of UAT test cases.
  • Lead UAT execution, tracking progress, coverage, and outcomes.
  • Ensure defects are logged, prioritized, resolved, retested, and formally closed.
  • Validate that all critical and high‑severity issues are addressed prior to UAT completion.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and escalate testing and readiness risks.
  • Drive mitigation plans for gaps that threaten adoption or stability.
  • Ensure test data availability, environment readiness, and user access
  • Coordinate resolution of environment or data constraints impacting UAT

Cutover and Hypercare

  • Support cutover rehearsals and business readiness checkpoints
  • Support during HyperCare

Knowledge Transfer & Sustainability

  • Plan, coordinate, and track knowledge transfer from vendors to internal teams.
  • Ensure documentation, training materials, and sessions are complete, accurate, and usable.
  • Confirm knowledge transfer supports long‑term operational ownership and reduced vendor reliance.

CrossFunctional Coordination & Readiness Assurance

  • Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT testing teams.
  • Align UAT activities with broader delivery, cutover, and readiness plans.
  • Identify readiness risks early and drive timely corrective action.
  • As needed, support cross‑initiative business readiness efforts aligned to separation and Day 1 independence, ensuring testing outcomes enable confident go‑live decisions.

Program Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain clear reporting on UAT status, risks, issues, and gaps.
  • Provide fact‑based readiness assessments to support go‑live decision‑making.
  • Ensure UAT outcomes support confident deployment and operational stability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience leading business‑side testing or readiness efforts in large enterprise programs.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and end‑to‑end operational flows.
  • Proven ability to mobilize, influence, and hold cross‑functional stakeholders accountable.
  • Comfort operating in complex, fast‑paced, and ambiguous environments.

Success Profile

  • Ensures systems are validated through thorough, business‑driven testing.
  • Brings structure, discipline, and follow‑through to UAT execution.
