About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UAT Tester with 7+ years of experience to support advanced testing activities for complex business applications. This role will work closely with business users, SMEs, stakeholders, Agile teams, and traditional delivery teams to design, execute, and validate User Acceptance Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UAT, QA processes, SDLC, Agile delivery, test documentation, defect management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria

Create and maintain RTM, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test suites

Execute manual UAT and validate functional and non-functional requirements

Support regression, integration, exploratory, accessibility, performance, and security testing activities

Log, track, retest, and validate defects through resolution

Support test data preparation, UAT readiness, and release readiness activities

Participate in Scrum ceremonies, testing discussions, and stakeholder meetings

Prepare testing metrics, status reports, defect summaries, and stakeholder updates

Collaborate with business SMEs, QA teams, product teams, and automation teams

Contribute to testing best practices, process improvements, and documentation standards

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in UAT, QA processes, SDLC, and Agile methodologies

Strong hands-on experience with test case design and execution for complex applications

Experience creating RTM, test plans, test scenarios, and test suites

Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar test management tools

Strong defect management experience including logging, retesting, and validation

Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG

Understanding of security testing and performance testing fundamentals

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to identify testing risks and recommend mitigation strategies

Ability to work effectively with business users, SMEs, technical teams, and delivery teams in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Government or regulated industry experience

Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, or automation concepts

Experience with test data preparation and test data management

Experience supporting Agile delivery, release readiness, and production validation
