Responsibilities

Modernization & Transformation

Evaluate legacy systems and interfaces to identify usability gaps and modernization opportunities
Redesign outdated user experiences into intuitive, efficient, and scalable solutions
Translate complex legacy workflows into streamlined, user-friendly journeys
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by aligning UX with modernization goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience redesigning or modernizing legacy systems or complex enterprise applications
Strong portfolio demonstrating transformation of outdated or complex interfaces
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability best practices
Experience working with design systems and scalable UI frameworks
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and technical constraints

What you can expect from us

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $130,000 - $160,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
