Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a UI / UX Developer for a Contract with a client in Sacramento, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating designs into responsive, accessible, and high‑performance user interfaces while delivering seamless user experiences.
Rate Range: $70/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
UI / UX Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Translate UI/UX designs into clean, responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that works seamlessly across devices.
Build interactive UI components, animations, and form validations to enhance user experience and engagement.
Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance by adhering to UX best practices and core web vitals.
Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end APIs and server-side logic in collaboration with engineers.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing, optimizing code for speed and scalability.
Maintain and evolve reusable component libraries and design systems to support consistent UI development.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Design, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in UI/UX or front-end development roles.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks with experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
Proven ability to integrate front-end solutions with back-end APIs, optimize performance, and maintain scalable design systems.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
