Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an UI/UX Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate Candidates must have strong hands-on front-end web development experience and expertise with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies.

Rate Range: $38/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UI/UX Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain intuitive, user-centered web and mobile UI/UX solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.

• Translate business and user requirements into responsive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces that meet WCAG and ADA/508 standards.

• Develop and support front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and JavaScript technologies.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and reusable UI components while ensuring adherence to UX best practices and design standards.

• Research emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve digital products and drive innovation across projects.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, UX Design, or a related field preferred.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design and front-end web application development.

• Strong proficiency with modern front-end technologies and frameworks, including JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience creating user-centered design solutions, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive interfaces while adhering to accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA/508).

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality digital products.

• Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or InVision preferred.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
