Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Senior UI/UX JavaScript (ES6+) Developer with extensive React.js and frontend architecture experience. This is an opportunity with an enterprise organization to lead frontend architecture, establish UI standards, and deliver scalable, high-performance applications. (Hybrid 3-4 days, San Francisco, Bay Area)
Must Have skills
- 10+ years frontend development
- 5+ years working with React.js and frontend architecture
- Experience leading UI architecture initiatives
- Azure cloud and DevOps experience
- Agile development experience
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with Material UI, Styled Components, Webpack, Storybook
- Expertise in state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API)
- Experience building enterprise component libraries and design systems
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques
- Experience with large datasets and dashboards
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
- Experience with REST API integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker
- Next.js experience
- Micro frontend architecture
- Data visualization libraries
- Financial domain exposure
- Lead the design and development of UI components using React.js.
- Define and maintain frontend standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
- Drive the development and adoption of reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Architect scalable UI solutions for enterprise applications.
- Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Lead responsive design and cross-browser compatibility initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with backend development and UX teams.
- Conduct code and design reviews to maintain quality and architectural consistency.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on frontend implementation.
- Maintain frontend documentation and UI architecture standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Role combines hands-on frontend development with technical leadership across UI initiatives.
- Experience leading UI architecture initiatives is preferred.
- Relevant React or Azure certifications are preferred.
- Pay Range- $60.00-70.00 per hour contract only
