UX/UI Lead

We are looking for a visionary and strategic UX Lead to drive user experience design across our digital products. As a UX Lead, you will guide a team of UX/UI designers and researchers to deliver world-class, user-centered design solutions that are aligned with business goals.

You will play a key role in shaping product strategy, improving design processes, and ensuring that the end-to-end customer experience is seamless, accessible, and impactful. This role combines leadership, mentorship, hands-on design expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy: • Own and define the UX strategy across key digital products and platforms. • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX/UI designers and researchers. • Champion user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization. • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to align UX efforts with company goals. • Establish and maintain scalable design systems and processes.

Research & Experience Design: • Plan and lead user research initiatives (interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics review). • Translate insights into actionable UX deliverables: personas, user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc. • Ensure a cohesive and accessible experience across all user touchpoints (web, mobile, apps, etc.). • Advocate for data-driven and inclusive design decisions. • Define KPIs and success metrics for user experience improvements.

Collaboration & Execution: • Partner with developers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs. • Provide clear design direction, critique, and feedback to team members. • Drive consistency through documentation, design systems, and UI libraries. • Present UX concepts, designs, and research findings to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Tools:

Design & Research Tools: • Expert in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. • Proficiency with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Framer, Axure, Protopie). • Solid knowledge of user research tools (e.g., Lookback, Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, Google Analytics). • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, ARIA).

Leadership & Soft Skills: • Strong leadership, mentorship, and project management capabilities. • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. • Ability to balance user needs with business goals. • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing).

Technical Awareness: • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and development workflows. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Lean UX environments. • Familiarity with design handoff tools like Zeplin or Figma Inspect.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of UX design experience with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role. • Strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, user research, and end-to-end product design. • Experience designing for web, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and responsive platforms. • Proven ability to lead design thinking workshops and drive innovation. • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation, Benefits, and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 56,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 196,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full-time employees.
