We have a wonderful opportunity for an Ultrasonic Testing Inspector 2 position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Should be previously certified to perform volumetric butt corner and tee weld UT inspections in accordance with NAVSEA T9074-A-GIB-010/271
Practical examination of the UT inspection of butt, corner and tee welds
Examination covers the specifications, codes, and acceptance criteria used in the applicable NDT procedure
Practical examination covers inspection performance including calibration, scanning, detection and evaluation of flaws.
All inspectors must have documented qualifications/certification to level II as of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, 2016 edition
Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test
HOURS:
1st Shift-7am-3:30pm
2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00Am
3rd Shift- 10:00pm-6:00am
Must be open to all shifts
PAY:
$46/Hour based on experience; Per Diem is offered for Non-local
