The role involves using advanced ultrasonic equipment for non-destructive testing of aerospace and high-performance components in a climate-controlled environment. The technician examines parts for internal/external defects, prepares materials, and interprets blueprints and procedures. Success requires quick learning, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and decision-making empowerment.
Responsibilities include ultrasonic setups, defect detection, documentation, and testing of components. Preferred qualifications are 2+ years manufacturing experience, NDT schooling, military background, and technical skills. Candidates must pass pre-employment tests, including eye and color exams.
