What Youll Do:
- Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy of procedures
- Explain processes to patients to facilitate understanding and comfort
- Operate ultrasound equipment independently per protocols
- Assist radiologists in guided procedures and imaging
- Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission
- Perform quality control checks and report issues
- Contribute to departmental operations, including inventory and maintenance
- Adapt communication and procedures to diverse patient populations
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards
What You Need:
- Current ARDMS certification in Abdominal and OB-Gyn ultrasound or Cardiac Sonography
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification within two years of employment
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sonography experience, including maternal fetal medicine
- Strong clinical skills in abdominal and obstetric ultrasound
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
