Job Title: Ultrasound Tech- General Location: Fortuna, CA 95540 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM 4:30 PM) Requirements- Minimum 3 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
- Current ARDMS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound safety protocols and patient care standards
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations for adult, pediatric, neonatal, OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, and small-parts imaging
- Conduct vascular studies including carotid, arterial, venous, duplex, Doppler, and aortic examinations
- Perform transvaginal, renal, bladder, prostate, ovarian, and uterine imaging studies
- Assist with ultrasound-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures as needed
- Accurately document findings and maintain patient records within the EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and departmental policies
Preferred Experience- OB/GYN imaging, including fetal anatomical surveys and multiple pregnancies
- Pediatric and neonatal ultrasound studies
- Vascular imaging and Doppler examinations
- Breast imaging and ultrasound-guided procedures
- Emergency Department imaging experience
- Experience in a hospital-based imaging environment
