    Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.

    Summary of Essential Duties:

    • Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal)
    • Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area
    • Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education
    • Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program required

    License/Certifications:

    • ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required
    • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
    • Experience in a hospital setting required
    • Applicants with less than 3 years of experience may be considered as an Ultrasound Tech I
