    Summary of Essential Duties:
    The Ultrasound Tech II is an advanced gynecologic Sonographer that specializes in high-resolution, dynamic pelvic ultrasonography to map deep infiltrating endometriosis of the abdomen and pelvis, ovarian endometriomas, superficial endometriosis, and adenomyosis. Techniques will also be applied to identify other gynecologic disorders such as PMOS, uterine anomalies and structural abnormalities, tubal disease, ovarian masses, and to assess pelvic floor musculature. The technician will work under the supervision of licensed and highly specialized physicians to capture, document, and analyze real-time dynamic maneuvers that are crucial for presurgical planning and disease staging.

    Qualifications
    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED required
    Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program required

    License/Certifications:
    ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
    BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

    Experience:
    A minimum of 3 years of Sonography experience required
    Documented experience in gynecologic ultrasound required, with an interest and willingness to learn about the above conditions and techniques
    Continuing education or other training in endometriosis mapping, deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) detection using IDEA and MUSA Criteria, and knowledge of IOTA/O-RADS ovarian mass triage models preferred
    Demonstrated mastery of 2D/3D transvaginal transducers, color/power Doppler, and real-time cine loop capturing required
