Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across OB/GYN, fetal, neonatal, renal, pelvic, and small parts imaging.
- Conduct detailed assessments including 1st-3rd trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical surveys, placenta previa, neonatal brain, heart, and bone lengths.
- Utilize GE ultrasound systems and operate within EPIC electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for accurate diagnostics and thorough patient care.
- Work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment with the flexibility to float between units as needed.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.
- Proficiency in OB/GYN, fetal, neonatal, renal, pelvic, and small parts ultrasound procedures.
- Expertise in high-risk OB settings and outpatient GE ultrasound systems.
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols such as amniotic fluid assessment, fetal anatomical surveys, and placental evaluations.
- ARDMS certification in general and OB/GYN specialties.
- BLS certification.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Nuchal Translucency Screen certification (ARDMS FE, NT).
- Experience with storm or hurricane team deployment during catastrophic events.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid registered diagnostic medical sonographer credential.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetric, fetal, and general ultrasound.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work scheduled hours from 07:45 to 16:30, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to float across different units as needed.
- Must be prepared for potential storm or emergency response duties.
- Scrubs not provided; any solid color scrubs accepted.
