Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Locals only)
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $1,900.00 – $2,166.00 per week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with High-Risk Obstetrics expertise to perform specialized OB ultrasound examinations, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists to support exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-risk obstetrical ultrasound examinations while ensuring accurate image acquisition and diagnostic quality.

  • Capture all required fetal and maternal anatomical views for evaluation by Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists.

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain the examination process, and address patient questions and concerns.

  • Review patient history and clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging studies are performed.

  • Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging parameters, and maintain image quality in accordance with departmental standards.

  • Document examination findings accurately and communicate significant observations to physicians and the healthcare team.

  • Maintain ultrasound equipment, follow infection control and safety protocols, and support quality assurance initiatives within the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.

  • Experience performing Obstetrical Ultrasound examinations.

  • Experience with High-Risk OB patients (required).

  • Ability to obtain all required fetal imaging views for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) evaluation.

  • Strong patient communication, interpersonal, and professional skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hospital or Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) setting.
