Responsibilities:
- Perform high quality ultrasound procedures to support patient care.
- Provide patient education and demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure positive outcomes.
- Support the organization's priorities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by supporting the Ultrasound department and other Imaging Services areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or acquire ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire date.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Ultrasound Tech with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
