Physician Consultants of Georgia (PCG) is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Ultrasound Technician (Vascular Sonographer) to join our growing outpatient specialty practice in Macon. Position Responsibilities


  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations.
  • Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring comfort and professionalism.
  • Document findings accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS and/or RVT certification required (or certification eligible with ability to obtain promptly).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.
Preferred Experience


  • Vascular imaging
  • Dialysis access evaluations
  • Peripheral arterial and venous studies
  • Nephrology and/or vascular surgery experience
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
