Are you an experienced sonographer looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, work with advanced technology, and make a meaningful impact on patient care?

 

We’re looking for sonographers who are interested in performing high end sonographic examinations in a high acuity setting to optimize prenatal detection rates for fetal abnormalities and improve outcomes. At the same time, you will be working alongside nationally and internationally recognized experts in obstetric and gynecologic imaging. You will also have the opportunity to serve in the outreach setting on our Mobile Bus.

 

Our department serves as a regional referral center. We are AIUM-accredited, and our sonography team holds advanced certifications in fetal echocardiography, first-trimester detailed anatomy advanced 3D in gynecology and we perform IOTA risk stratification.

 

In addition, we have specialized clinics geared at placenta accrete spectrum.

 

Our department is nationally recognized and is a Luminary site for GE Healthcare, giving us the opportunity to evaluate emerging ultrasound technologies while we keep our equipment among the most advanced in the field. In addition, our unit is constantly involved in research and our sonographers play an important role and serve as co-authors of both abstracts and manuscripts presented and published nationally and internationally.

 

Our department is also home to an Advanced Practice Sonographer, amongst few in the nation, further establishing us as one of the most supportive of sonographer growth in the nation. In addition, our ultrasound unit holds a yearly national ultrasound conference where you will get to network with global experts and where our sonographers are mentored to participate and speak on a national level.

Responsibilities:

 What You’ll Do

Our Ultrasound team provides a diverse clinical experience across:

• Outpatient & inpatient settings
• Mobile Bus
• Ultrasound-guided procedures in both Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Participating in research

Qualifications:

 

 Requirements

Successful completion of an Ultrasound training program
• ARDMS or ARRT (Ultrasound) registration required at hire
• OB/GYN certification within 6 months of hire

• BLS, from AHA or Red Cross, required or obtained with 90 days of employment.

Minimum two year's experience preferred.
