Job Title: Ultrasound Technician – Vascular
Location: Bedford, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:45 PM
Position Summary
The Ultrasound Technician – Vascular is responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound procedures in a surgical clinic setting. The ideal candidate must be experienced in vascular imaging and capable of working independently from day one, particularly with graft-related procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Independently assess and evaluate grafts, bypasses, and vascular interventions.
- Conduct diagnostic imaging for abdominal and peripheral vascular conditions.
- Evaluate dialysis access and aneurysm-related cases.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of findings.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required.
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience within the past 3 years.
- Experience in settings such as urgent care, internal medicine, or family practice clinics.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Grafts (must be able to perform independently from Day 1)
- Bypass procedures
- Dialysis access imaging
- Aneurysm evaluation
Preferred Skills
- Experience in abdominal vascular imaging (aneurysm, mesenteric, peripheral vascular disease).
- Peripheral bypass imaging expertise.
- Prior experience in a surgical clinic environment.
