Ultrasound Technologist, Full Time, Days

Performs sonography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety, and comfort.  Exams and procedures include all parts of vasculature structures and organ systems.

• Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

• Able to recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure and exercises independent professional and ethical judgment.

• Competent in production, use, recognition and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment.

• Critical thinking skills

\nRequired Experience\n

• \n
• Completion of an accredited course in ultrasonography.
• \n
• CPR/BLS - Basic Life Support
• \n
• Registered through RDMS, SDMS, or other comparable society.
• \n
• Two (2) years’ experience in sonography
• \n
• LA City fire card within 6 months of employment
• \n
