The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital
in Helena, MT to find service-oriented Ultrasound Technologists who are
passionate about patient care and advanced imaging technology.
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll provide
high-quality patient care while performing a wide range of diagnostic
ultrasound procedures.
In this role, you'll work closely with physicians,
patients, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure accurate imaging,
exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with quality and safety
standards.
Schedule:
- Full-Time (1.0 FTE) |Monday through
Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- PRN & Afternoon shifts
available
What You’ll Do
Essential Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review
exam orders for accuracy & safety
- Guide patients through procedures
with compassion and professionalism
- Perform high-quality 2D and 3D
ultrasound examinations
- Ensures timely, accurate image
transfer to PACS and resolves system issues.
- Complete imaging measurements,
documentation, and reporting in accordance with protocols
- Prepare medications, supplies, and
equipment using sterile technique when appropriate
- Assist physicians with ultrasound
guidance during interventional procedures
- Ensure patient safety, perform
procedural timeouts, and maintain regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with leadership on
scheduling, coordination, protocol development & patient flow
- Participate in CQI, QA,
accreditation, and departmental improvement projects
- Assist with staff training, equipment
maintenance, inventory management, and other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA school
Ultrasound Technology program
- Eligible for national sonography
registries
- ARDMS certification preferred
(Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular)
- Current BLS certification required
- 2+ years of ultrasound experience,
including Pediatrics and OB
- Proficiency in multiple ultrasound
modalities, RIS, HIS, and PACS systems
- Experience assisting physicians
with thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, and related procedures
- Competency in operating ultrasound
equipment
- Experience in both inpatient and
outpatient settings
