Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM 10:00 PM, Monday Friday; some weekend on-call coverage
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks traveler can be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2 weeks
• On-Call: Yes some weekend call required
• Travel Requirements: Local candidates not accepted candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a General Ultrasound Tech travel contract at an Acute Hospital facility. The unit scans a variety of general and vascular ultrasound exams. Patient population encompasses all ages neonates, children, and adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound examinations across a diverse patient population including neonates, children, and adults
• Operate as a registered sonographer credentialed in both general and vascular ultrasound
• Provide weekend on-call coverage as needed

Required Skills

• Registered sonographer both general and vascular (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ARDMS certification (required)
• ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification (required)
• Ability to accommodate on-call and weekend call coverage
• Open to block schedule accommodation

Preferred Skills

• Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in abdomen or obstetrics/gynecology and vascular technology preferred

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required

• ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
• Registered sonographer general and vascular required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
