Position: Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for various clinical indications, ensuring accurate diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to departmental protocols.
- Accurately document examinations, findings, and relevant patient information in the medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weeknight and weekend calls, with responsibilities extending from 7 AM to 10 PM during weekends.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the clinical environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or eligibility for ARDMS certification.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Licensure or registration in good standing with relevant professional bodies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, 8 or 10-hour day shifts with varied start times.
- Rotated on-call duties including weeknight and weekend rotations.
- Competitive hourly pay rate from $27 to $35, commensurate with experience.
