Ultrasound Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including:
• • Abdomen
  • Small parts
  • Obstetrics (OB)
  • Breast imaging
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
• Effectively communicate with patients by providing clear instructions and responding to questions with accurate, factual information.
• Demonstrate age‑appropriate communication techniques to support optimal patient care.
• Collaborate with supervisors, lead technologists, radiologists, and coworkers across multiple clinic locations.
• Apply technical principles to optimize the quality of sonographic images.
• Maintain awareness and compliance with ultrasound safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent

Certifications (Required):

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Minimum two (2) of the following:

RDMS – Abdomen (ABD)

RDMS – OB/GYN

RDMS – Breast (BR)

RVT / RVS
